    Portfolio Budget Statement 2000–2001,
    Outcomes and Outputs Framework

    As a constituent part of AFFA’s portfolio department, the financial information below summarises RIRDC’s activity during 2000-01 on an outcomes and outputs basis. With the exception of late minor adjustments to RIRDC’s AOP – an increment of approximately $48,000 to the income side and a decrement of approximately $8,000 to outlays – the information in the table and map below is in accord with the Corporation’s Budget Plan.

    RIRDC’s stated outcome is consistent with AFFA’s stated outcome of increasing the profitability, competitiveness and sustainability of Australian agricultural, food, fisheries and forestry industries.
