The Wildflowers and Native Plants program targets the R&D needs of a unique Australian industry that exports to the world.
Growers can be found in all states of Australia producing a wide variety of flowers including kangaroo paw, Geraldton wax, NSW Christmas bush, pink waxflower and many others.
The program aims to improve the profitability, productivity and sustainability of the Australian industry. Funding is provided by voluntary industry revenue and RIRDC core funds provided by the Australian Government.
R&D funding decisions are directed by an industry based advisory committee.
