The AAMI web site facilitates the online payment of insurance premiums via major credit cards (as long as the premium is below five thousand dollars). Online request forms are available to request quotes on car, home and caravan insurance as well as registration greenslips for NSW. Policy documents are also available through the site and an online claim service is under development.

Allianz

Allianz Australia Insurance provides a range of general insurance products such as car insurance, CTP, home insurance and boat insurance. Quotes for these products can be obtained online, and policies can be taken out and paid for online via credit card. 

Allianz Australia also offers commercial and corporate insurance products (including Construction, Marine, Commercial Motor and Motor Fleet, Property and Engineering and Risk Finance). Details about these products are available through the site. 

Information on workers' compensation products (e.g. claims management and reporting, policy and premiums, risk management) are also available through the site.

Australian Unity offers "Quick Quotes" (through a very brief form) for Health, Travel, and Home and Contents insurance, and more detailed forms for those wishing to buy or apply for their cover online. There are also discounts/specials posted on the site, along with investment information and calculators.

CGU Insurance

The site provides information on its personal insurance policies (car, home, travel, landlords, caravan, boat, strata, motorcycle), rural insurance (country classic, small farm, farm motor, crop, livestock) and commercial insurance (business, office and corporate). Online forms are available to request estimates or further information.

EIG - Ansvar

EIG - Ansvar offers Motor, Household, Church and Business insurance services, with copies of their policies available for download in PDF. An online form is also available for requesting insurance quotations. Claim forms are also available from the site, and in many cases claims processing can be initiated via email before any claim forms are even submitted.

GIO

You can organise a quote, make an insurance payment or find out how to make a claim through the GIO web site. 

The GIO web site offers information on Motor Vehicle insurance (comprehensive, third party property, ctp/green slip and commercial); Home insurance (home and contents, strata); Boat, caravan and trailer insurance and Business insurance (workers comp, businesses, business professionals, trade and farm). 

A quote can be obtained for these insurance services by phoning 131010, emailing for a quote, or by visiting your local GIO branch (a branch locater service is offered through the site). 

The GIO site also facilitates the payment of your personal insurance online (with the exception of Business Insurance and Workers Compensation which cannot be paid online). 

Various options are available for lodging a claim. In some instances claim applications can be lodged online, while in others the appropriate phone numbers or pdf claim forms are provided.

This site can provide estimates for home, car and health insurance, and can facilitate the application for and purchase of these policies online. EasyBiz Insurance (cover for businesses with less than 10 employees and/or owners in the retail, professional, hospitality and tradespersons categories) can also be taken out online. Policy renewals can be paid online as well.
