Indigenous Pastoral Project appoints delivery agent 29 Oct 2012

McClelland Rural Services Pty Ltd has been selected as the successful tender applicant to deliver the first stage of the Indigenous Pastoral Project.

The Indigenous Pastoral Project is being administered by the Rural Industries R&D Corporation.

McClelland Rural Services Pty Ltd, comprises a diverse and experienced agribusiness team consisting of Bob McClelland (consultant and rural property consultant), Noel Haug (agribusiness consultant), Felicity Hamlyn-Hill (consultant, former Senior Beef Extension Officer, QDAFF) and Steve Craig (Pastoral Manager at Mistake Creek, NT). 

The group has a broad range of experience and skills, including beef extension work, pastoral management, agribusiness consultancy, and the production of extension materials (e.g. Future Beef website). 

The contract will cover consultation with Indigenous pastoralists and other stakeholders on priorities, an audit of current extension materials and programs, development of the case studies and the development of the framework.
