Time running out to apply for top-line ag innovation summit 12 Jul 2016

Agriculture’s innovative young leaders should apply now to attend a three-day agricultural summit to be held from 21-23 September 2016 in Albury, NSW.

GrowAg – Cultivating Excellence in Ag for our Farming Future is a pre-eminent cross-industry forum, bringing together 100 key influencers to celebrate new technologies and ideas, smart business, leadership and innovation in agriculture.

Presented by the Australian Government Department of Agriculture and Water Resources and the Rural Research and Development Corporations, the summit features an outstanding line up of speakers and interactive sessions to showcase the latest research and technology shaping Australia’s agricultural industries.

“GrowAg is an important forum to learn about new ideas and innovations, but importantly it will drive discussion around ‘smart business’, particularly how to practically adapt and adopt new technology and innovation into farm businesses” said John Harvey, Managing Director of the Rural Industries Research and Development Corporation (RIRDC).

“There are so many innovative farmers and farm businesses right across Australia and we want to hear from them, we want to recognise the role the younger generation is playing in pushing the boundaries on productive agriculture and leading industry change” he said.

Unique to this Summit, all participant travel, accommodation and conference involvement will be covered for selected applicants. If you are a farmer, banker, service provider or are involved in agribusiness and the supply chain aged 25 to 40, don’t miss your chance to apply for this top-line event!

Applications close Wednesday 20 July 2016. Successful applicants will be announced in mid-August 2016. Applications can be submitted online at
