Objective summary

The Venison Alliance Project is a RIRDC funding support initiative that aims to provide a trigger for the establishment and further development of supply chain and coorperative structures within the deer industry. These structures comprising any combination of producers plus processors 'value adders' or marketers will provide the basis for commercial alliances of a formal or informal nature to improve surety of direction supply and markets. The Venison Alliance Program Steering Committee will oversee the implementation of a three stage process comprising provision of financial support for staging of Alliance Kick Start Workshops production of Alliance Business Plans and Initiation of Alliance Development Initiatives of a technical marketingorganisational or business management nature that may include projects funded under the Australian Government's Industry Partnerships Program.
