Program Overview
Performance Indicators
The Agroforestry and Farm Forestry and Joint Venture Agroforestry Programs were established in 1993 and finished in 2009.
We will know we are successful when we can see:
- Stakeholder involvement in identifying and communicating key research results
- Collaboration by various researchers on guidelines for improving biodiversity using shrubs and commercial trees
- Increased awareness by regional and catchment management groups, industry and government of the role and value of farm forestry and woody shrub farming systems
- Increased understanding of the research and adoption needs for achieving carbon-neutral farming using perennials (mitigation and adaption), while managing water and biodiversity trade-offs
