Investing in Youth Studentship 2011 Program

What are  you going to do when you leave uni?

It's a question you've probably been asked many times before.  In fact, probably more times than you care to remember.  Well, we are going to ask you just one more time...

We are encouraging graduates to think about a career which is full of challenges, experiences and rewards... a job in the rural sector.

To help you get there, we've established the Investing in Youth Undergraduate Studentship Program.

The studentship offers you, the undergraduate student, financial support and a mentor who can provide valuable career advice.  Under the program we will also offer you relevant industry placements so you can gain experience in your chosen field of study.

Successful recipients will be selected on the basis of commitment to primary industries and a career in primary industries.  Support will be provided to undergraduate students for a period of up to four years.  

The initiative, which follows on from a successful pilot in 2010, is a collaborative effort across industry and government.
