The New Plant Products program aims to facilitate the development of new industries based on plants or plant products that have commercial potential for Australia.
This program is funded by voluntary industry revenue and core funds provided by the Australian Government.
It is broken down into eight sub-programs:
Culinary herbs, spices and beverages
Cultural and world foods
Olives
Extractive and fibre crops
Fruit, vegetables and nuts
Grains and pulses
Miscellaneous crops and activities
