The Rare Natural Animal Fibres program conducts research mainly for the angora, cashmere and alpaca industries.
Funding for the program comes from industry contributions and Australian Government matching funds and core contributions.
Research and development funding decisions are made by the Rare Natural Animal Fibres advisory committee, an industry based group which directs resources to areas of industry need.
