Performance Indicators
Key performance indicators for 2010-11
- Breeding program continued with the objective of achieving an oil yield gain of 150 per cent by 2010-11 in the orchards and 150 per cent by 2007-08 for the clones
- Seed sales to industry of 375g seed per year (i.e. sufficient to plant 100ha/yr)
- Yield increase demonstrated in plantings of producers of up to 120 per cent by 2007-08 and 150 per cent by 2010-11
- Protection for improved seed (possibly via Plant Breeders Rights or DNA Fingerprinting)
- Code of practice taken up by industry
- Evidence of actual or potential regulatory barriers identified and prioritised
