Project Details

Name

Australian Market Development Strategy

Summary

To conduct an information and education campaign to the floral industry supply chain to educate them on Australian grown wildflowers and foliage – using existing florist wire service networks and wholesale/supply chains as well as advice from top Australian floral designers and tips and specifications from the RIRDC wildflower quality specifications project. The project will also create a unique resource manual that covers wildflowers, foliages, tropicals and flowers from temperate/cool climate regions, showing photos, botanic and common names, basic specifications on how they can be purchased and tips on best practice, as well as photos showing how these flowers can be used in floral design. This resource manual will be designed and piloted as part of this project, with the intention for it to be produced separately from this project.
