RIRDC’s business is about funding priority research and translating results into practical outcomes for industry development.
- We are about new products and services and new and better ways of producing them.
- Our budget in 1998/99 was around $22M across more than 600 projects.
This program is carried out by 16 full-time and seven part-time people.

Certification
CertificationConsistent with Part 1, Clause 4 of the Commonwealth Authorities and Companies Orders 1998, the Board of the Corporation made the following resolution at its meeting on 7 September 1999.
'That the Corporation Board accepts responsibility under Section 9 of the Commonwealth Authorities and Companies Act for the preparation and content of this Report of Operations in accordance with the Finance Minister's Orders.'
In making this resolution, the Board noted that four Directors commenced their terms on 1 July 1999, and authorised the Chair to make editorial changes, as appropriate.
