Summary
This report overviews the
outcomes of the Agroforestry Industry Evaluation project commissioned by
the Joint Venture Agroforestry Program (JVAP). It updates estimates of
the areas of farm forestry around Australia, and summarises
market opportunities for farm forestry. The report also outlines implications
for ongoing development of farm forestry markets. Two separate
reports outline in more detail, the farm forestry resource and the market
opportunities. This report has been prepared to inform investment
priorities for farm forestry research and development, including
for JVAP. It will be of interest to landholders, investors, extension providers,
policy makers and the forestry and forest products industry.
