Objective summary The BEAMRIRDC Algae Biofuels Group aims to bring together researchers, industry and government agencies and to foster communication, networking and collaboration to advance the development of commercially viable, renewable algaebased biofuels in Australia. The group will also work on defining key research and development priorities and needs, policy issues and any regulatory requirements.

The group will have a dedicated Web site and will hold regular meetings.
