Summary This project involves the implementation of the RIRDC national bioenergy communications and extension program for the primary industries sector. Implementation tasks include establishing a web portal for industy information, a regional pilot program and case studies.

Objective summary The aim of this project is to consolidate and communicate knowledge about bioenergy and its relationship with primary industries, particularly from the perspective of feedstock supply.

The program should inform decisionmaking, identify opportunities for primary producers, and give credible knowledge to develop sound policies. It is targeted at primary producers and the people who represent or communicate with them, and Australian, state and local government staff. It is part of the National Bioenergy Research Development and Extension Strategy under the National Primary Industries Research, Development and Extension Framework (NPIRDEF), and should bring together participating organisations.
