Objective summary The R&D plan is about investing in research to secure horticulture and agriculture's ongoing access to reliable, consistent quality and cost effective pollination services without which many Australian rural industries would not be productive. The plan will deliver R&D for the pollination dependent industries that is relevant, market focussed and generates the greatest net benefit for Australia. The proposed research will result in an R&D plan that supports industry in its drive to be productive, sustainable and profitable. The Communication Strategy will be used to improve the awareness of pollination issues of the importance of pollination services and garner support for R&D funding.
